SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Sioux Falls Police Department is inviting the public to join them in honoring the 54 police officers killed in the line of duty in South Dakota.
The Project Blue Light Memorial Event will recognize those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to their community over the years.
Fallen officers will be honored at 6:30 pm outside of the food court at the Empire Mall.
The event is free to attend.
