COLTON, S.D. (KELO.com) — Firefighters rescue a person from a house fire in Colton Friday morning.
Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Deputies and a number of local fire departments responded to the blaze.
The Sheriff’s Office says the person was airlifted from the scene to a hospital. The authorities said they do not know the patient’s condition.
The following agencies participated in the incident: The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office, the Colton Fire Department, Lyons Fire Department, Baltic Fire Department, Dell Rapids Fire Department, Chester Fire Department, Dell Rapids Ambulance, and Minnehaha County Emergency Management.
