SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – As the Emerald Ash Borer continues to burrow into the regions’ ash trees, it’s important to slow the spread of the beetle. That’s why John Ball, Professor at SDSU and Forest Health Specialist, says winter is the best time to trim ash trees and properly dispose of the trimmings.
Ball says treatment has been effective at killing the beetle.
