SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — With storms beginning to form to the west, the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for a portion of South Dakota until 10:00pm. Some of these developing storms could be severe and produce winds up to 60 mph and ping pong ball sized hail. Though unlikely, a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
