SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota firefighters are helping fight the Post Fire south of Crawford, Nebraska. Engines and crews from Madison and Colton headed out to help with the wildfire.
Nebraska Emergency Management said numerous additional resources arrived yesterday and this morning. Fire managers expect an increase in fire activity with temps in the 90’s, low relative humidity, and gusty winds.
At last report, the Post Fire had reached nearly 5000 acres and was 0% contained.
