SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — There was a lot volunteer energy Friday.
Xcel Energy employees and family members put their good energy into action and volunteered in Sioux Falls to feed the hungry.
It was part of a larger effort of more than 1,000 Xcel Energy employees, retirees, family, friends, and customers who fanned out over four states to volunteer their time during Xcel Energy’s 11th annual Day of Service.
In Sioux Falls, about 20 volunteers worked with Feeding South Dakota and packed boxes of food for hungry families.
