Sioux Falls, SD—The Sioux Falls Stampede announced their pre-season schedule for the 2021-22 season today. The team will play three exhibition games and one scrimmage prior to the start of the regular season in Pittsburgh.
The Herd’s lone home game will be on September 18th against Fargo.
The Stampede kick off exhibition play September 10th and 11th in Sioux City for the USHL West Pre-Season Shootout. The Herd open play on Friday, September 10th at 1 PM against the Omaha Lancers and then will play the Lincoln Stars on Saturday, September 11th at 1 PM. Both games will be played at the Tyson Events Center and tickets will be $10 for adults and $7 for kids. Fans can purchase tickets at the door both days and tickets are valid for all three games taking place that day.
The following weekend the Stampede will travel to Fargo for a scrimmage at 6 PM on September 17th against the Force. The following night the Stampede will host Fargo at 7:05 PM at the Scheels IcePlex. Tickets are $10 each at the door or free for season ticket holders. The Stampede are also hosting a charitable golf tournament for South Dakota Youth Hockey Associations earlier in the day on September 18th. Click here for more information and to register your team.
The Stampede open regular season play in Pittsburgh at the USHL Fall Classic on Saturday, September 25th against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The Herd’s home opener is slated for Saturday, October 9th against the Lincoln Stars. Players will begin practice late next week. More information about the home opener and the Stampede’s promotion schedule will be made available over the coming weeks.
