SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Services says Saturday could be a bumpy, stormy, rainy, and hail-y day in the KELO Radio listening area.
The NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Friday night and Saturday:
Additional thunderstorms are likely on Saturday. These storms could be severe with large hail to golf ball size, damaging wind gusts to 75 miles per hour, and an isolated tornado. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
Another clue the NWS offers about severe weather is that note in the advisory, “Spotter activation may be needed.”
