SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A shooting, a flasher, and catalytic converters are on the Sioux Falls Police briefing docket Wednesday.
MEET-UP TURNS INTO A SHOOT-UP
A 35-year-old woman is in jail for shooting a man she had agreed to meet up with Tuesday afternoon.
Jamie Tortice is charged with aggravated assault for shooting the victim in the arm and the torso.
The victim, 22, from Sioux Falls, went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident took place at an apartment parking lot in the 3500 block of South Gateway Boulevard.
Sioux Falls Police found Tortice in her car in the 900 block of North Cliff early Wednesday morning.
CATALYTIC CONVERTS THEFTS, AGAIN
Catalytic converter thefts in Sioux Falls are back.
The Sioux Falls Police say there were reports of more thefts Tuesday.
A FLASHER IS ON THE LAM
Authorities are on the lookout for a 20-something Hispanic man driving a black mid-sized SUV.
Sioux Falls Police say he drove by a woman at her mailbox in the 5200 block of East Popfly Place Tuesday.
He said something, she went over to his vehicle, then the culprit exposed himself to her.
The flasher is still at large.
