BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota State University Jackrabbits are working through fall camp, preparing for their first game on September 3 at Colorado State.
This spring, the Jacks already played ten games, falling in the FCS national championship game to Sam Houston in May.
Head Coach John Stiegelmeier says the players will be ready to go again.
Stiegelmeier says this is a special year with twelve returning “super seniors.”
Due to the pandemic, seniors have the option of returning for one more year of competition.
Stiegelmeier says he sees a lot of potential.
The Jacks have been picked to win the Missouri Valley Football Conference and third overall nationally.
