SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Parts of north and east Sioux Falls received hail from Thursday night’s pop-up thunderstorm.
Reports on Twitter and the National Weather Service varied from pea-sized, to quarter-sized, to 1 and 1/2 to 2-inch diameter hailstones.
KELO Radio’s Dave Scaturro sent in a photo of hailstones (right) from a friend’s house near N. Cliff Avenue and I-90, varying from two to three inches in size.
