SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Hartford family tragically lost 3 of its members this past weekend in a western Montana crash.
37-year-old Jennifer Hoefort, 32-year-old Drew Hoefort, and 14-year-old Abby Vitek all suffered fatal injuries after a head-on collision with a drunk driver who was going the wrong way on I-90.
An 8-year-old and 2-year old survived the crash, and are currently hospitalized.
The family was on their way to Idaho to reunite with relatives after the recent passing of Drew’s father.
To help alleviate costs related to the tragedy, community members have set up a GoFundMe for the family.
