SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota’s COVID-19 vaccination rate now lags behind the national rate.
That’s according to the New York Times Coronavirus Tracker.
The national vaccination rate is 49%.
South Dakota’s vaccination rate is 47%.
Minnehaha County’s rate is also 47%.
Lincoln County’s rate is 37%.
For much of the time following the availability of vaccines, South Dakota was at the top of states with the best vaccination rates.
