SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service warns of a heat index between 90 and 100 degrees–or higher–Friday.
The Sioux Falls office has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for much of the KELO Radio area:
Heat indices in the 90s to perhaps above 100 are expected Friday. Above normal temperatures will continue into next week. Those with outdoor activities are encouraged to keep heat safety in mind. Additionally, isolated thunderstorms are possible Friday evening. Severe weather is not currently expected.
At least severe weather isn’t in the forecast.
