SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office says a juvenile boy is under suspicion for placing a recording cell phone in the family bathroom at the Dell Rapids City Pool Saturday.
According to authorities, the pool manager found the phone in an area of the locker room where a phone wouldn’t ordinarily be.
Authorities said the boy worked at the book. However, they say he is no longer employed there.
The sheriff’s office thinks there is another, earlier episode of recording in the locker room.
Sheriff’s Capt. Josh Phillips says the phone was in a family bathroom at the pool, typically used by pool staff. However, he said, the bathroom was accessible from the pool facility to the public.
Law enforcement did not release the juvenile’s name. The MCSO is looking at the cell phone and continuing their investigation.
