SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police release a few more details about the kidnapping of a woman from Oakwood Lakes north of Brookings Sunday.
Police say that an officer spotted the kidnapper’s blue Jeep Cherokee about 7 a.m. near Highway 38 and La Mesa Drive.
The officer thought he saw two or three people in the Jeep.
The officer lost the vehicle at 15th Street and Cloudas Ave. in east Sioux Falls about 7:30 a.m.
However, police did find two women who were in the vehicle walking near 18th and Cleveland.
One was from Sioux Falls, and the other was from Brookings.
The authorities did find the Jeep parked.
The alleged kidnapper, 23-year-old Alexander Felipe Andrade of Sioux Falls, remains at large.
