Justin Hagerman received Lifesavers for his life saving efforts
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls Taco John’s employee is credited for saving the life of a customer on Wednesday.
Justin Hagerman was working when he was suddenly approached by a customer who said her friend was choking in their car.
Justin ran outside, removed the victim from the vehicle, and dislodged the item by performing the Heimlich maneuver.
It was only the 5th day back at work for Justin, who was out of work for 9 months while battling stage 4 Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Taco John’s praised his efforts, and yesterday presented him with the Life Saver Award.
