MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Mitchell healthcare provider is keeping an eye on the growing number of COVID-19 cases over the last couple of weeks.
Avera Queen of Peace interim president and CEO Doug Ekeren is encouraging people to get their COVID-19 shots if they haven’t already.
He says there’s an alarming trend with the COVID-19 delta variant.
Ekeren says it’s easy to get vaccinated by contacting a primary care clinic and making an appointment or checking local pharmacies.
