SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Just another day in Sioux Falls crime–shots fired, drugs, and stolen cars and catalytic converters.
BULLET IN CEILING LEADS TO BIG MARIJUANA BUST
A bullet hole in the ceiling of an apartment leads to a big marijuana bust.
Residents in an apartment in the Essex and South Plateau Trail area noticed a bullet hole in their ceiling and called the police Monday afternoon.
The Sioux Falls Police came and went to the apartment above.
The police finally got in and saw marijuana.
They got a warrant.
The police arrested a man and a woman.
Misikir Ashame, 21, from Sioux Falls, is charged with having 10 pounds of marijuana, other drug charges, and firearm charges.
Adanech Melka, 48, from Sioux Falls, has drug charges.
They are in the Minnehaha County Jail.
STOLEN CATALYTIC CONVERTERS AND VEHICLES–AGAIN
There were more catalytic converter thefts yesterday (Monday) and two more vehicle thefts in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls Police say two vehicles were stolen.
Both were unlocked and had the keys in them.
