SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The American Red Cross of South Dakota continues to face a severe blood shortage. The Red Cross says it’s negatively affecting blood product availability across the United States.
Donors of all blood types – especially O – are urged to book a time to give soon & help stock hospital shelves. Platelet donations are low as well. According to the Red Cross, critical care for cancer patients & others relying on transfusions are at risk for delays or cancellation.
In thanks for giving in July, three people will win gas for a year.
