SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A South Dakota man died in a crash yesterday after leading police on a chase in Pennsylvania, according to police in Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
An officer attempted to pull over Daryl Gakin, 34, of Redfield, for speeding.
Gakin then took off at a high rate of speed.
He eventually hit a guard rail and flipped his vehicle several times.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say alcohol or drugs likely played a factor.
