SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Voters in the Harrisburg School District have approved a $60 million bond issue to build two new schools in Sioux Falls.
The money will go toward a new middle school at 69th and Southeastern and a freshman academy on the west side of Cliff Avenue, just south of 85th street. That freshman academy could be expanded into a full high school as enrollment rises.
83% of voters approved the issue, which the district says was needed to prevent overcrowding.
