MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO.com) — Davison County is moving closer to enacting rules regarding the location of medical marijuana facilities in the county.
Commission Chairwoman Brenda Bode says the group placed the ordinance on first reading Tuesday.
Bode says at this point the County is only authorizing one dispensary but can also revise the ordinance to allow more in the future.
Second-reading is next and she says if all goes well the new ordinance will take effect July 2.
