SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service has placed the KELO Radio listening area under a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the next seven days.
They say expect high winds Thursday and on-again-off-again rain and thunderstorms into next week.
DAY ONE…Today and tonight. Gusty winds between 40 and 55 mph are possible this morning along the western edge of the shower complex. Wind gusts will likely last less than 30 minutes. Although unlikely, an isolated higher gust to 60 mph is possible. Isolated thunderstorms are possible today into this evening.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday. Periodic shower and storm chances return this weekend into early next week.
The Weather Channel expects high temperatures to bottom out Thursday at 60 degrees, then gradually warm into the mid-70s by mid-week next week.
