SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are investigating a theft of rings valued at $8,000 from a downtown Sioux Falls jewelry store.
The theft occurred Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of South Phillips Avenue.
Police say two men went into the store.
One of them talked to the clerk.
The other went looking for unlocked cabinets and stole the rings.
The police say there is surveillance video.
The authorities say these types of criminal operations can happen quickly.
