SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Authorities are investigating a house fire that occurred late Tuesday night in the 5200 block of East 15th Street in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue says when they arrived, there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the house.
Occupants of the house were out of the building when firefighters arrived.
There were no injuries.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On April 26th, 2021, at approximately 23:00 p.m., Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the 5200 block of East 15th St. Initial reports were that there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the residence. The first arriving fire crew found heavy smoke and fire coming from the back of the house. Crews were able to quickly extinguish fire on the exterior of the building. Crews then entered the structure to extinguish fire in the attic area of the residence. All occupants were out of the home before crews arrived on the scene.
There were no injuries reported from either civilians or responders. One family was displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 5 fire trucks, 2 support vehicles, and 18 firefighters.
