SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
49th Street, Arway Drive to Carnegie Circle
Reconstruction Project
Beginning on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, utility work will begin at the intersection of 49th Street and Oxbow Avenue for the 49th Street, Arway Drive to Carnegie Circle reconstruction project.
Traffic will be shifted north along 49th Street the entire length of the project with one lane in each direction. Racket Drive and Oxbow Avenue will be closed to traffic. Access for Sanford Family Medicine and Sanford Wellness will be from 51st Street.
The intersection of 49th Street and Oxbow Avenue will be closed for ten working days. And the project should be fully complete by mid-August 2021.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction are and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure –
Minnesota Avenue and 21st Street Patching
Beginning on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, work will begin at the intersection of Minnesota Avene and 21st Street to perform street patching along the east northbound lane.
Traffic will be reduced to one northbound lane and should be completed within five working days.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction are and may want to consider alternate routes.
