
FBI reward poster in the death of Tammy Haas, 4/13/21.
YANKTON, S.D. (KELO.com) — FBI Minneapolis and the Yankton Police Department announce a $15,000 reward for information that will help uncover exactly how 19-year-old Tammy Haas died in September of 1992.
Haas attended a party in the Crofton, Nebraska area on Sept. 17, 1992. A few days later, she was found dead near the site of the party. An autopsy revealed Haas’ death was caused by hyperflexation of her neck.
The FBI and Yankton Police Department continue to investigate and believe the reward may cause people to come forward with information.

Yankton Police and the FBI held a news conference in Yankton Tuesday morning to announce the reward.
