SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police had a busy 24 hours.

CAR TROUBLE LEADS TO BIG TROUBLE
Car trouble in central Sioux Falls leads to an even bigger problem–a man with a knife.
Police say three people in a car pulled into a parking lot in the 1300 block of East 10th Street last night (Wednesday) with car trouble.
One of the three got out to try to fix the car.
While they were doing that, a man who was loitering nearby went up to the two remaining passengers with a knife and started banging it on the window.
The robber reached in and stole a backpack.
The person fixing the car pushed him to the ground, and the assailant hit his head.
He went to the hospital.
The robber will likely face aggravated assault and robbery charges.
ALERT CITIZEN REPORTS DRUG DEAL
An alert citizen called in what they thought was a drug deal in the 3200 block of West Russell Street early this morning (Thursday).
They were right.
When the Sioux Falls Police responded, they saw two men.
One had a bag.
When the officers approached, he put the bag down then ran away.
The guy that stayed had brass knuckles, which are illegal.
A woman accomplice was in a motel room.
The suspects had 128 grams of marijuana and 92 grams of meth.
They are charged with a variety of crimes, including drug distribution.
ANOTHER FUNNY MONEY INCIDENT
There’s been another attempt to pass funny money in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls Police say someone tried to pass a fake $100 bill that had “for motion picture use only” on it.
The clerk at the gas station spotted it was fake and kept the fake bill.
The suspect left without getting real money for their funny money.
MORE CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFTS
The catalytic converter thefts are still going on.
Sioux Falls Police report thefts in the 7900 block of East Arrowhead Parkway and the 1600 block of East 10th Street.
The victims thought the converters were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday.
