BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO.com) – On Tuesday evening around 9:00 PM, a Brookings resident reported an unknown suspect entered their home while they were out of town sometime between February 18th and March 16th.
The resident noticed the following items were missing from the home:
1) Taurus G2 9 MM pistol with 2 full 11 round magazines.
2) 3 Michael Kors purses.
3) 1 Louis Vuitton purse
4) 1 Burberry purse
5) Misc. games and Blue Ray DVD’s
6) 9 pairs of Jordan shoes
7) 1 Play station gaming system
The resident believes the suspect entered through an unlocked window in the back of the residence.
The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $7,500.00.

Location: 3250 Western Ave. S. (Rural Brookings, SD)
On the above date and time a rural Brookings resident reported that an unknown suspect entered the home sometime while they were out of town between Thursdays, 02/18/21 at 3:00 PM to when it was noticed on Wednesday, 03/16/21 at 9:00 PM. Entry is believed to be gained through an unlocked window in the back of the residence. The following items were stolen from the residence.
1) Taurus G2 9MM pistol with 2 full 11 round magazines.
2) 3 Michael Kors purses.
3) 1 Louis Vuitton purses
4) 1 Burberry purse
5) Misc. games and Blue Ray DVD’s
6) 9 pairs of Jordan shoes
7) 1 playstation gaming system
