SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Governor Kristi Noem stood up for South Dakota’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic on this morning’s “Face the Nation.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) South Dakota is ranked 8th per capita for COVID-19 deaths, to which the Governor replied,”We’re definitely on the downward trend” but says she’s against “mandates that will tell people what they have to do.”
She also went on,“You indicated I ignored medical advice, and I didn’t listen to my health experts. I most certainly did,” adding South Dakota took the virus “very seriously”
