Drainage Improvements – Southwest Sioux Falls
Beginning on Monday, February 22, 2021, work will begin on the Southwest Sioux Falls Drainage improvements project.
Work on this project will include grading of the drainage channel from Galway Avenue to Anthony Avenue, between 61st Street and 64th Street, and construction of a stormwater detention pond between Anthony Avenue and Sundowner Avenue. A low-flow stormwater and sump pump collection system will also be included for this project.
This project is anticipated to be complete by late August of 2021, with some minor work continuing into the fall of 2021.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – West 41st Street
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, the outside eastbound lane and two outside westbound lanes of West 41st Street will be closed for a short distance west of Kiwanis Avenue.
Telcom Construction will be performing utility work.
This work is anticipated to be complete prior to 3:30 p.m. on February 24, 2021.
