SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — There are a number of bills pending in Pierre that the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce says would enhance economic development in the metro.
One bill would provide marketing money for route development for the Sioux Falls and Rapid City airports.
Another would give a $15 million dollar grant to make improvements in the city’s industrial parks.
A third bill would provide the Department of Social Services with $3 million to provide behavioral and mental health services in the city.
The final bill would provide $15 million for grants to developers to build affordable housing.
