SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Two armed robberies were reported over the weekend in Sioux Falls.
The first occurred at a Holiday Gas Station on 12th and Ebeneezer early Saturday morning at 2:40.
Two Native American men entered the business. One of them displayed a weapon which turned out to be a socket wrench.
He then threatened a clerk with the socket wrench. They couldn’t get the register open and fled with some merchandise.
The second armed robbery happened Saturday night at 10:40 at O’Reilly Auto Parts at 18th and Marion.
Two black men entered the store. One of them had a handgun and hit an employee in the head causing a minor injury.
The suspects took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
