President Joe Biden.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — At least so far, the Sioux Falls Police are making no special preparations for potential violence in the city surrounding President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration next week.
Officer Sam Clemens says that last he checked, there were no permit applications filed yet for demonstrations next week.
He said there had been no preparations or issues in previous years during Presidential inaugurations in Sioux Falls.
However, he did say the situation this year was “fluid.”
The FBI is warning of possible armed protests in Washington, D.C., and state capitals next week during preparations for Biden’s inauguration and the inauguration itself.
