SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A machete-wielding man is in jail on aggravated assault and other charges.
Police say Andre Derell Matthews, Jr., 31, from Sioux Falls, came up to two men at a gas station at 10th and Cleveland around midnight (Wednesday).
At first the conversation went ok, but the man became angry, went to his car, and threatened the men with his machete.
The other men got in their car to leave, but Matthews blocked them.
Police think Matthews was also involved in a similar incident on 8th Street earlier in the evening.
No one was hurt in either incident.
Matthews was also charged with DWI second and driving with a suspended license.
