SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — LifeLight is partnering with local charities to provide a Christmas meal and gifts to the needy.
Here is the press release:
Many events during and around the holidays help raise funds for charitable organizations or purposes. Join us as we bring “Holiday Cheer” to families in the community!
On December 23, 2020, LifeLight Communications, Inc., Tre Ministries, Sioux Falls 1st, Union Gospel Mission and the Thomas Club are partnering together for a Community Outreach event – distributing over 200 meals and Christmas gifts to families in need this holiday season. Many of these families include students who attend the LifeLight Youth Center, located in and around Pettigrew Heights. Families signed up to receive this meal distribution will also receive Christmas presents for kids between 3-7pm at the LifeLight building on 420 S. Duluth Ave.
Give back by donating your time and effort! We are still accepting volunteers willing to either donate gifts or finances to purchase Christmas gifts for children in the community. The deadline for accepting gift donations is Monday, December 21 at 6pm. Once all of the donations are received, our volunteer staff will individually wrap the gifts on Tuesday, December 22 and prepare them for the distribution on December 23rd. We are asking for gift donation items valued around $20. All gift items will be provided to both gifts girls and boys in grades Pre-K – 12th grade. Donations can be made through https://lifelight.breezechms.com/give/online.
