SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Mayor Paul TenHaken uses the Minnesota Vikings in his latest plea to finish strong against COVID-19.
“I was thinking yesterday as I was watching the Vikings pull it off, which is very rare, that the Vikings have a history of not finishing well. ”
He’s hoping that doesn’t happen in Sioux Falls. He doesn’t want folks to become complacent because of recent positive trends with the disease and with vaccine approval closer than ever.
“As we move into December, I just couldn’t help thinking about how important diligence will be to us and finishing well over the next couple of months.”
TenHaken warns that we still have to keep our guards up and our masks on.
Health officials report that COVID hospitalizations have stabilized in the Sioux Falls region in recent months.
