SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are looking for a gray car that they believe a shooting suspect drove off in yesterday (Thursday).
Police say the incident in the Walgreens parking lot at 57th and Cliff was a marijuana deal gone bad.
The suspect shot the victim in the buttocks while the victim was in his vehicle.
Authorities say there were a number of shots but only one hit the victim.
The suspect and the shooter took off in different directions.
The 19-year-old man went to the hospital.
He has non-life-threatening injuries.
Officer Sam Clemens says there were a number of witnesses at Walgreens and at the intersection who have provided information. He also said a number of businesses have surveillance video the police will be looking at.
He said the shooter also ran into the Walgreens building during his getaway, damaging the building. Clemens says there were a number of shell casing. He said it was fortunate that no one else was hurt in the incident.
