SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls police are investigating after a car struck a pedestrian Wednesday night.
Authorities say the accident happened at about 10:15 near W. 5th St. and N. Minnesota Ave.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On November 18, 2020 around 10:15 p.m. Officers from the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to a car-pedestrian accident in the area of W. 5th St. and N. Minnesota Ave. On arrival, they located an injured subject in the road and a vehicle with damage. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for life-threatening injuries. The investigation is on-going at this time and a portion of N. Minnesota Ave was shut down due to the investigation.
