SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — City leaders have launched the ‘Safer Sioux Falls Pledge’ campaign for the local business community.
“Asking businesses to make a pledge for safe practices in the workplace that will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19,” says Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce President Jeff Griffin.
Businesses taking the pledge to promote mask-wearing and other measures would be added to an online directory with a map showing where the businesses are located.
Griffin says the new campaign will help expand voluntary compliance already well established in town.
“So many of them have been doing it. It’s time to elevate that and celebrate those and promote more of it.”
