SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It’s just good old-fashioned police work now to try to find the suspected killer of a Lincoln High School student on Halloween Night in central Sioux Falls.
Spokesman Sam Clemens says detectives keep talking to people who were at the party and keep searching for more.
“Even if they don’t think they know anything if they happened to be there, we want them to call in to, at least, give us a chance to try to talk to them to find out if there was anything they actually saw that is relevant.”
So even if you don’t think you know anything, you just might, so get in touch with the police.
Making this investigation tougher is that the shooter was apparently disguised in a Halloween costume.
Venance Kitungano, 18, was a Lincoln senior and a popular member of the school’s soccer team.
Investigators have said that Kitungano was not the intended victim.
