SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
Very strong west to northwest winds are expected Wednesday, with occasional gusts of 35 to 50 mph.
These winds, combined with very dry grasses and crops, and low humidity levels, will result in Very High to Extreme Fire Danger.
Avoid burning on Wednesday, and use caution to prevent accidentally sparking a fire, as rapid spread and erratic fire behavior is possible!
