SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Gunshots reported in the area of W. 57th Street and S. Baneberry Drive Thursday morning at 3:30 causes a road closure in Sioux Falls.
South Marion Road from W. 56th to W. 57th was blocked off for a time this morning.
A short time later, a second call came in that a motor vehicle accident occurred in the area of W. 57th Street and S. Marion Road.
A male was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
The investigation is on-going and anyone with information regarding either call is encouraged to call Crime stoppers at 605-367-7007.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: On 10/8/20 around 3:30 a.m. Officers from the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the area of W. 57th St. and S. Baneberry Dr. A short time later, a second call came in stating there was a motor vehicle accident in the area of W. 57th St. and S. Marion Rd. A male was located with the vehicle and he was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. The investigation is on-going at this time and anyone with information regarding either call is encouraged to call Crime stoppers at 605-367-7007.
TRAFFIC NOTE: South Marion Rd. from W. 56th to W. 57th is being blocked off at this time so seek alternative routes.
