ROWENA, S.D. (KELO.com) — An attempted robbery ends peacefully.
Saturday the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an attempted robbery in progress call at a business in
Rowena.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office along with Sioux Falls Police and the South Dakota Highway Patrol responded to
the scene.
The occupants, who had been able to detain the suspect, turned him over to law enforcement.
The suspect, Deng Deng Jiel Jr., was taken into custody and arrested for attempted robbery in the 1 st degree.
