WATERTOWN, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls isn’t the only city in the region to battle over snow gates.
The City of Watertown now says they are getting rid of the devices.
They’re the piece of equipment that’s attached to snowplows that removes the ridge of snow left behind at the end of driveways during snow removal.
Mayor Sarah Caron says she’s been getting calls from some people who aren’t happy with that decision.
But she says there are also drawbacks to using them,
Watertown has three snow gates.
They say they’ll likely be shipped somewhere else where they can be used.
