SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Street construction update:
Lane Closures – Kiwanis Avenue
Beginning on Wednesday morning, September 30, 2020, the outside southbound lane on South Kiwanis Avenue at 33rd Street will be closed.
Q3 will be working on utilities.
This work is anticipated to be complete by the evening of September 30, 2020.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Intersection Lane Closures –
26th Street and Sycamore Avenue
Beginning on Thursday, October 1, 2020, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction through the intersection of East 26th Street and Sycamore Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement patching. The lanes closed within the intersection will vary daily as crews progress with the repairs, however, one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times while work is occurring. All lanes will be open to traffic between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Lane Closures – 57th Street
Beginning on Thursday, October 1, 2020, the outside eastbound and westbound lanes of West 57th Street will be closed between Minnesota Avenue and Isabel Place to allow crews to complete the concrete and restoration work along 57th Street. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
This work is anticipated to be complete in the fall of 2020.
