CANISTOTA, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Canistota School district took to Facebook to remind parents of the expectations of children in quarantine.
1. They should check their school email and Google classroom for instructions.
2. Some classes will require students to zoom in/google meet (like facetime) for parts of class at specific times.
3. Other classes will have ongoing independent work and will ask students to work on assignments during the week.
4. Expect teachers to be checking in with your child during their remote/quarantined time.
5. Students should email Mrs.Ortman if they need textbooks or something out of their lockers. I will deliver them to students.
6. Students should check their email FIRST before becoming overwhelmed about what to do.
Questions? Please ask.
The post also stated there are roughly 20 high school kids in quarantine at this time.
