CANTON, S.D. (KELO.com) — An odd domestic violence situation on Interstate 29 south of Sioux Falls turned into the apprehension of a felon with a sawed-off shotgun.
Early this morning, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies pulled over a suspicious car.
A domestic violence incident was going on between a man and a woman.
The woman got out of the car and yelled at law enforcement to shoot her.
The authorities calmed the situation then found that the man–a convicted violent felon–had a sawed-off shotgun.
There was also a child in the vehicle during the incident.
The man and woman from Winnebago, Nebraska face a variety of charges.
