SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls’ forecast:
There will be a chance for thunderstorms tonight – primarily along and north of I-90.
This will bring a marginal risk of severe storms.
Most areas will see little rainfall although a couple of storms could bring a quarter to half-inch of rain north of I-90.
Hot weather is expected through the middle of next week with highs from the upper 80s to upper 90s.
It will also be a dry period with the only chance for rain on Friday night into Saturday.
Take it easy in the heat – drink plenty of fluids and limit outdoor activities during the heat of the day.
